We are looking for a talented person to manage and expand our digital research platforms. We propose you to learn and to be able to evolve towards the technologies that you are interested in, to propose your ideas and to be creative, to carry out varied tasks in autonomy and in team, and to work in an international and open environment. The essential working language is English (French is not a prerequisite).
You will be responsible for the FIT research platform (https://fit-equipex.fr/) development and/or operations of the federation depending on your profile and interests.
What we do
FIT is a web based solution providing researchers with an easy access to worldwide distributed resources (IoT, Wireless, Cloud) written in Python and React. We are also running a private cloud based on OpenStack and a Wireless lab, which are part of the FIT resources.

The Computer Science Laboratory of Paris 6 (LIP6) is a research laboratory under the supervision of Sorbonne University and the CNRS. With 220 permanent researchers and 199 PhD students, LIP6 is the largest computer research laboratory in France.
The position is located within the team of Professor Serge Fdida, coordinator of the FIT infrastructure.

One year contract (in French, a "CDD"), renewable twice
Position based on the Pierre and Marie Curie campus of Sorbonne University (4 place Jussieu, 75005 Paris, France)
Occasional trips in France, Europe and abroad
International and open environment
Salary according to profile and experience (+ contribution to the Navigo public transport travel pass and to the canteen of the University)
You have an experience in managing and monitoring infrastructure based on Linux in virtualized environments.
You want to develop your skills in all those domains.
You speak English (French is not a prerequisite for the job).
